Once Tapify is live on your store, you’ll start to notice a lift in sales in the form of Tapify-driven orders. To securely accept the payments for these orders, you’ll need to verify your identity and add your bank information on the Tapify Merchant Dashboard. Payments are securely processed by Stripe, a world-leader payment processor and fraud prevention company.
When you’re ready, here’s how to add your bank account information easily and securely in 3-easy steps.
Step 1 – Sign in to your Tapify Merchant Dashboard from www.tapify.io or via the Apps tab of your Shopify dashboard.
Step 2 – Once logged in, add your Personal and Bank Account Information in the Bank tab
Step 3 – Click Save.
Once you’ve added all of your information, be sure to click the Save Details button to finalize your submission.
Here’s a description of each field in the Business Details section.
Business Type: This is the legal business entity type for your store . In almost all cases, Merchants are a ‘Company’.
Business number (BN): This is your government issued corporation number.
Address: Your business’ street address
City: Your business’ city
Postal Code: Your business’ postal code
Here’s a description of each field in Personal Details section.
First Name: The store owner’s first name
Last Name: The store owner’s last name
Date of birth: The store owner’s date of birth
Personal ID number*: The store owner’s personal identification number, which can be a government issued driver’s license number or social insurance number (SIN).
*note: this number will never be stored and is strictly used to verify your identity and prevent fraudulent disbursing of funds.
Here’s a description of each field in Customer Billing Statement section.
Statement Descriptor: This is what your customers will see on their monthly credit card statement after making a purchase. Typically, this is your store name.
Phone Number: This is the phone number your customers should use as your main point of contact.
Here’s a description of each field in Banking Information section.
Bank Country: This is the country of your bank account
Routing Number: This is the routing number of your bank account
Account Number: This is your unique bank account number
Payout currency: This is the currency you use to bank in your country of business.
